On Friday, in Krosno Platinum Motor Lublin defeated local Cellfast Wilki 62:28 in the meeting of the twelfth round of PGE Ekstraliga. Bartosz Zmarzlik performed three times in this competition and scored eight points and one bonus.
Bartek competed for the first points in this match in the third heat. Zmarzlik and Kubera – the pair of guests – got the best start. Then the leader of the Motor was overtaken by Jason Doyle, but Bartosz regained the leading position quite quickly. The guests won a double victory in this race and after three runs they were leading 14:4.
In the seventh run, after a great start, Zmarzlik scored three points. Vaclav Milik came in second, and Krzysztof Sadurski won the fight for one point with Kacper Grzelak.
The tenth run was Bartek’s tour de force. He had a great start and won confidently. In the duel for two points, Andrzej Lebedev defeated Mateusz Cierniak. The last rider at the finishing line was Piotr Świercz.
“I am happy with another win for our team. Certainly no one from the team expected such a high score. We are slowly approaching the end of the main round, and in the play-off phase, the real fight for medals in this year’s season will begin,” said Bartosz Zmarzlik after the event in Krosno.
