2nd place in the 3rd Canal+ Online Final of the Polish Individual Championships in Łódź. BARTOSZ ZMARZLIK Polish Champion 2023!

The 3rd Final of the Canal+ Online Polish Individual Championships has ended. Bartosz Zmarzlik took first place in the main round with fourteen points. In the final, the speedway rider finished second behind Janusz Kołodziej. Bartek won the third championship title in his career so far. In the additional race for the silver medal, Maciej Janowski defeated Patryk Dudek.

In the third race, Bartek had the best start from the first position, but Jarosław Hampel overtook his teammate quite quickly. Along the track, Kacper Woryna won the fight for one point against Piotr Pawlicki.

Zmarzlik was slow at the start in heat six. However, the rider from Lublin quickly moved to first place and won with a large advantage over the other competitors. Buczkowski scored two points. Miśkowiak got one point, and Świdnicki was last. In this fight, Bartek set a new track record in Łódź (57.72).

Bartosz Zmarzlik started poorly in the twelfth run. When he entered the first curve, he accelerated very quickly, passed all his opponents and remained in the lead till the end scoring another three points. After a nice fight along the track, Kołodziej won two points. Przemysław Pawlicki finished third and Dominik Kubera was fourth.

Bartek triumphed in the fifteenth run too. Thanks to this victory, he secured his third championship title in his career so far. Szymon Woźniak finished second, followed by Oskar Fajfer and Wiktor Lampart.

Race seventeen was Zmarzlik’s another top performance. He finished first for the fourth time and advanced to the grand final. Dudek scored two points. However, the last position of Maciej Janowski is a surprise. The Wrocław native lost the fight for one point to Wiktor Jasiński. Zmarzlik had a poor start in the final. However, he overtook Hampel and Dudek along the track. Unfortunately, he failed to catch up with Janusz Kołodziej.
